living fully & moving consciously
I am passionate about helping, educating and inspiring people to live and move more optimally, and with more awareness. Together we achieve this by practising, primarily, Pilates, yoga and the FRC® system, sometimes in isolation or sometimes in combination depending on my students' needs and desires.
These movement practices are available to everyone, and they can transform and empower individuals. I work closely with my students each step of the way to help them achieve their goals, modifying movements where appropriate and supporting them through good, solid alignment, whilst remaining sensitive to their bodies and minds.
I am an eternal student and I love to share what I have learnt. My mission is to continue to be inquisitive about moving and living mindfully so that I can continue to educate, inspire and support my students and peers.
If you come to one of my classes or if we work together in a private student setting, expect to move and to learn more about your body – the “how” and the “why” – in an environment which is open and often includes laughter and smiles.

more about me
I first stepped on to a yoga mat in 2007. At the time, I was working full-time as an attorney. I didn’t really give much thought to focussing on the present moment and I certainly couldn’t quiet my mind. I was always looking forward, thinking about what was coming next and how I could achieve my goals.
The first time I experienced being truly present was when I began running. Running not only enabled me to “switch off” from everything but I loved how it felt to feel my body moving with my breath. It was so rhythmic.
Fast-forward a few years and I had moved away from England and relocated to the Middle East for work. I continued to run, but I also began going to yoga classes more regularly. I also started to spend more time outdoors: on the water, kitesurfing and wakeboarding, or in it, scubadiving. And then in 2015, I decided to trade in my corporate suits and high heels for leggings, tank tops and barefeet.
I completed my 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2016. During 2016, I unfortunately suffered from knee and elbow injuries. These affected my yoga practice on the mat. I was fortunate enough to meet an amazing teacher who introduced me to alignment-based yoga. Since then, I have been hooked on the human body, alignment, biomechanics and moving mindfully.
Since completing my first teacher training, I have undertaken numerous courses, workshops and advanced teacher trainings, including a STOTT PILATES® Instructor Course. I continue to be committed to broadening and deepening my knowledge of yoga and its traditions; modern principles of exercise science and rehabilitation by way of the STOTT PILATES® method, as well as optimising human movement through functional range conditioning. Further details of my certifications and trainings can be found here.
